This year we asked supporters, politicians, civil society and the general public to Vote For Fairtrade by asking politicians to support Fairtrade if elected to the European Parliament in June.

Our ask was to write a letter to candidates and use our Vote Fairtrade banner on social media platforms.

We would like to say a very big thanks to all who sent the letter and to everyone who voted for Fairtrade!

As is likely , there will be a general election in Ireland this year, so we will be able to ask our TDs to support Fairtrade too when this election comes around.

And in the meantime there are lots of commercial campaigns that can be supported and products that can be enjoyed!
